Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2019

Embassy of India in Spain celebrated Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2019 at the emblematic Centro Cívico Bailarín Vicente Escudero in Valladolid on 12th January 2019. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of more than 150 people from Indian Community in Valladolid, the members of Cultural Association of India in Castilla and Leon and Spanish nationals. Delegate Councillor General of City Council of Valladolid Sra. María Victoria Soto Olmedo, the Team of IES Condesa Eylo who collaborated for Vaishnava Jan To Bhajan Mr. Ignacio Becoechea de la Rosa, Director of the Choir, Ms. Natalia Mota Ibánez , Singer, Professor of Singing and Voice, Mr. Yonder Alexander Rodríguez, Musician and several students of the Choir graced the occasion. Ms. Begoña Guijas of Regional Association of Adopting Families of Castilla and León and seevral Spanish families who adopted their children from India also participated.

During the event the artists and choir members were honored and presented the Letter of Appreciation from Honorable Minister of External Affairs of India. A short video on the significance of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas was screened along with several cultural presentations by Indian community and Casa de la India.
