41-44 Know India Programme notification


Know india programme (KIP) of the Ministry of External Affairs is a three-week orientation programme for diaspora youth conducted with a view to promote awareness on different facets of life in india and the progress made by the country in various fields e.g. Economic, industrial, education, science & technology, communication & information technology, culture. KIP provide a unique forum for students & young professionals of Indian origin to visit India, share their views, expectations & experiences and to develop closer bonds with the contemporary India. 

The schedule of 41-44 KIPs has been finalised.

KIPs would be a 25-day programme. This year, 2-3 States are included in the programme of each KIP.
Guidelines and application form for these programmes may be accessed at Indian-origin youth interested to be a part of the abovementioned four KIPs to be held in 2017, can submit applications online.

Ministry will attempt to allot the first preference of each applicant to the extent possible. If there are too many applicants for a specific KIP, the allotment of candidates will be on first-come-first serve basis and subject to fulfilment of all eligibility criteria

The last date for submission of the application is 21st July 2017.
